  • Will my new cats ever be accepting

I have 2 female cats, ages 1 and 2. I recently took in a baby boy stray around 4 months. The girls are not happy about this new addition. They hiss, and are upset about the new boy. I thought that female/ male relationships were friendly. I would like to know if anyone has had a similar situation? If so how did it work out?

  • Help, VERY SICK CAT

My 18 year old cat began having difficulty keeping things down about 3 weeks ago. I bought her wheatgrass and it helped her bring up some huge hair balls. She continued to bring up her food.
I took her to the vet Friday before last. He took bloodwork and x-rays. Heart is enlarged which is normal for a cat her age. All other organs are functioning good. Has no temperature. Gave her medication for intestinal gas possibly due to infection. Kept a little milk down and some tuna salad.
Took her back last Tuesday for vet to trace berium through her system and take xrays. No blockage.

Has anyone heard about this? Check out this story about someone going around in Westminster, Colorado shooting cats with b.b. gun. An innocent kitty was shot in the legs and paralyzed. As if that wasn't bad enough, in rural Delaware, somebody has been setting cats on fire. What's especially horrifying about this story is the indifference by some of the townspeople.

Our 10.5 year old cat has decided to use other areas of the house for her litter box. I'm concerned it may be a medical problem - however - not sure what. Her behaviors have not changed (ie - showing signs of illness). I have even carried her downstairs to the litter boxes but she seems scarred and nervous. HELP!

  • Cat puking everywhere

My cat Sam pukes 2-3 times a week. He doesn't act sick and he's pukes up hair half the time. He's a overeater so I've been monitoring small feeds 3 times a day and he still pukes up water if he can't hurl anything else. I give him hairball formula with no effect. Anyone have any idea what else I can do? My husband wants to get rid of the cat.

HI. My mom has a 5 yr old male who about a year ago got a bad case of diarehha and has never gone away. A couple months ago he refused to use the litter box to poop in. Stool samples have been taken into the vet, blood work- nothing. so hoping it was behavioral, i brought him to my home and he was ok for a week. then he started to not use the box and he urinated all over EVERY throw blanket and rug. HE DRINKS LOTS OF WATER - LOTS- AN ABNORMAL AMOUNT and i noticed some blood in on of the dirarehhas outside of the box. we're running out of options.

  • Urine problems

Hi, my 2 1/2 year old neutered male cat has had some sort of urinary problems for the past year. He visits the litter box very frequently and stays in the box for several minutes. He does eliminate urine each time. It appears to have some blood in it. After several hundred dollars in vet bills, we still don't have a clue. His urine sample did not have any bacteria or crystals. He went through a month of aniboitics with little improvement. He was on his death bed when an acqaitence suggested giving him vitamin C, cranberry capsules, corn silk capsules and subque fluids.

  • She sleeps on hard surfaces

Our cat refuses to sleep on anything soft, like a bed or couch. Instead she prefers the hard coffee table during the day and our nightstand at night. Our apartment is about 68-70 degrees, so I know it's not too hot for her. Anyone ever heard of this and know why?

  • kitten won't eat

I am in turkey at the moment and have been suckered (through my love of animals) into looking after all the strays I find.

Two days ago i found a tiny kitten, about 8 weeks old. The first day she ate, but now she won't. i've tried chicken, egg and cheese, also red meat.

If she won't eat what should i give her? A solution of something? Untill i can get her to a vet.

Please help or she may die. I want to worm her but i don't want to cause more problems with her stomach, she should be eating first.

    Hi there,
My cat is almost 2 years old and recently has been
urinating in the corner near our front door. Does
anyone know why he may be doing this? His litter
box is cleaned regularly so I don't see that as being
    the reason. Please help!!
